" Our 5 year old son has been taking semi-private French lessons with Jamie of Culture Club for the past 6 months.  Jamie provides a fun, age-appropriate lesson that not only engages curiosity but also a rich language experience.  Nico's language skill has exploded, he is curious about new expressions and words in French, and his pronunciation is nearly native-level.  Jamie's interaction with the students is impressive.  She fosters an environment that reinforces students self-confidence, while correcting their language at the same time.  An hour and a half lesson seems to fly by, the kids never seem bored, as she deftly transitions from a variety of oral and written activities, always using age and gender appropriate activities to engage them fully.  Given both the quality of the lesson and the impressive results with my own son, I consider her fees more than reasonable, as is her willingness to work with our schedules.  I have been so impressed with her classes and look forward to Nico's continued progress."

"My children work with Jamie since their French immersion school closed and we wanted to keep up their French. They have a blast in the program and are always excited to explain their activities at the end of the day. Jamie does a great job of meeting them at their individual levels and tailoring instruction to their needs so that they stay engaged and interested (not easy with a 5 year old after a full day of kindergarden!). They have maintained their French skills and their interest in language and we are so grateful to the Culture Club for  reinforcing the skills they already had, and building on new ones. The immersion aspect of the class makes it seem less like studying and more like fun learning to them, and I know the language flexibility they are gaining will serve them well in the future.
