Class Descriptions

Culture Club’s unique after-school program and teaching style are designed to give your child a richer immersion experience. Our three-pronged approach, with roots in immersion, relies on learning through context, community, and confidence. Our small class sizes are designed to give children ample speak time to derive meaning through context.

French for Beginners

Children will communicate in French while exploring different cultures and traditions. Classes are grouped by skill level (not age) to create a natural and supportive learning environment. Older children often help guide younger ones—reinforcing a community-based classroom.

Emerging French Groups

Many children have already had exposure to French—through bilingual daycare, travel, or home use. For those students, we offer more advanced classes to get them speaking fluently! In these groups, children:
  • Practice speaking and listening in French
  • Play games and socialize
  • Build vocabulary
  • Expand reading and writing skills

Summer & NoSchool Camps
